The liver fluke lifecycle can be hard to understand.

We need eggs, larvae, dung, faeces, heat, moisture, grass, mud snails and cattle or sheep for an infection.

Within the animal there is an excystation, a migration from the gut to the liver, two immature stages in the liver tissue and a mature stage in the bile system.
